My journey to Rapa Nui was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. Tessa did a magnificent job catering this trip to our needs, giving great local suggestions, and being such a positive presence. Thanks to Professor Terry Hunt, I discovered more about Rapa Nui than I ever could’ve imagined. His knowledge of both the history and culture of the island is unmatched. I would suggest this trip to anyone and everyone, it truly is a once in a lifetime experience, and Tessa and Terry are amazing people who make the trip so special.

A fantastic experience that felt like traveling with friends. The hotels were wonderful and the experiences so well chosen and interesting. Tessa and Alison with the addition of Marta created a remarkably comfortable and truly special travel experience. I will remember it for a long time and certainly recommend other trips with TRC.

The tour was great! Not sure how it could have been better. Explora was good but the food quality was very variable, I.e. seared tuna order arriving well done. Similarly with eggs. Food variety was excellent and most food preps were good. Terry’s lectures were superb and greatly added to the experience. My recommendation for others considering possible excursions to Rapa Nui are with TRC and Dr. Hunt only! Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this amazing experience.

This was a great trip! I really enjoyed the people that were on the trip with me. I feel that some stops were too long and we could have cut a day in Paris and London. Seeing all the special places in Germany was wonderful.

This trip was wonderful! We visited so many places and it was amazing! I would love to do it again. Navigating the public transit system was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I recommend going a day or two early to work off the jet lag and see some other places too. The cooking class was super fun. Meeting the people and making new friends was super.
