Tessa did a fantastic job organizing this trip. Some of the businesses venues came a little short, considering prices and reputation.

We had a wonderful group of people on this trip. Tessa was our guide and was able to intervene a couple of times when things didn't go as planned. The only way to see Rapa Nui is with this company and professor Terry Hunt. Explora lodge was very nice and their guides were very knowledgeable. We were well cared for, everyone was so nice at Explora. Professor Terry Hunt gave several presentations about his research on the island, I can't imagine visiting Rapa Nui without knowing about all of his research. It was especially nice having an all-inclusive resort atmosphere, we didn't worry about anything. I highly recommend this trip!!

The tour was well thought through. The pace was just right, the accommodations spectacular - from the design of the hotel all the way to the food. Lectures by our highly qualified professor added the extra touch. Great week.

The tour was great! Not sure how it could have been better. Explora was good but the food quality was very variable, I.e. seared tuna order arriving well done. Similarly with eggs. Food variety was excellent and most food preps were good. Terry’s lectures were superb and greatly added to the experience. My recommendation for others considering possible excursions to Rapa Nui are with TRC and Dr. Hunt only! Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this amazing experience.

This trip provided an amazing opportunity to visit multiple Christmas markets in 3 countries, explore the local cultures and the cuisine and make new friends. The guided excursions in Strasbourg and Nuremberg were great. And the trip to Lindt chocolate factory was so much fun. Plenty of time to explore each city on our own. Amazing experience!
