What an exceptional and unforgettable experience! Professor Hunt and Tessa, our travel consultant, did a wonderful job arranging our daily activities and meals. The pace was perfect with time to explore all the sites and enjoy the day they had planned for us. I would recommend this trip to all, novice or expert, wanting to learn and experience more about the history of Rapa Nui and the Moai.

Excellent trip. We learned a bit about Rapa Nui, and we have a better understanding of how the Moia fit into the island culture. The tour was well run.

Great itinerary. Tessa was very organized and the guide, Jina, was wonderful. Expert archaeologist was with us which complemented the local guide and provided professional interpretation. Loved the Ohana Inn, staff, and food. The only suggestion is to make tipping process more clear as there was some ambiguity and I feel we didn’t have information on hotel tipping process.

Fabulous trip: Visiting the archeological sites + current culture on Rapa Nui was fantastic. The archeological sites are amazing. Professor Hunt is so knowledgeable and his work captivating. The combination of the academic science and the oral traditions of the Rapa Nui people is important and enriching. Gina's guidance on her island and connection with others was superb. The additional activities such as stargazing/fireside dinner, horseback riding, beach time, and Hauna Roa time were outstanding complements to the archeological focus. The hotel, Ohanna, was wonderful. All the people who made our trip so incredible - thank you! Days at start and end in Santiago were fun too. And Tessa (of TRC), how do you do it - such planning, organization and collaborations - wow! Thank you all for making this a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
